Deli opener

Are you a morning person who loves greeting customers with a smile? Northdale Square in Thief River Falls, MN is currently seeking a Deli opener to join our team. As a Deli opener, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure our deli is ready for business each morning.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Open the deli each morning in a timely manner
  • Prepare and set up food and beverage stations
  • Ensure all food products are fresh and well-stocked
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently

As a Deli opener, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring our deli operates smoothly each day. We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a deli or food service setting is a plus, but not required – we are willing to train the right candidate.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work early mornings and weekends
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Food safety certification preferred but not required
