Job Overview

We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager to join our growing team! The primary purpose of this position is to supervise convenience store operations. The assistant manager sets the expectations for other team members. They provide a welcoming positive environment and model exceptional customer service.

Pay - $19/hour

Full Time - Monday through Friday and every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Lead a positive work environment
• Assist in recruiting, training, managing and motivating employees
• Manage inventory
• Schedule employees
• Ensure store is clean, safe, stocked and well kept
• Profit margins ?
• Cash handling?
• Provide outstanding customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required
• 1 year of previous managerial experience in a retail store, restaurant or retail environment is preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and be available to respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Ability to coach, train and manage employees
• Effective communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Positive attitude
